Flying Sites

Bob Reynolds reyrae79@yahoo.com Not all the flying sites in New England, or even Vermont, are regulated by the Vermont Hang Gliding Association. Morningside Flight Park, near Claremont New Hampshire, is used for flying and training by commercial operators. Mount Greylock and the Mohawk Trail are just across the border in Massachusetts and are regulated by the Massachusetts Hang Gliding Association. Canon Mountain, in upstate New Hampshire, is regulated by the New England Paragliding and Hang Gliding Club. Ellenville New York is a good weekend destination and is regulated by the Southern New York Hang Glider Pilots Association. The Connecticut Hang Gliding Association watches over many sites in that state. |
